These terms govern your use of Voteris. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
Voteris presents publicly sourced voting records from the European Parliament and the US Congress, and lets registered users record personal opinions ("approve"/"disapprove") on people and votes. Voteris is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the European Parliament, the US Congress, or any government institution.
Data accuracy
Voting-record data is sourced from public open-data APIs (the European Parliament Open Data API and Congress.gov, among others) and is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee completeness or correctness, and you should verify anything important against the original official source.
Your account and content
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials (password or passkey) secure. The opinions you record are your own personal expression and don't represent the views of Voteris. You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to bypass rate limits, scraping at scale, or interfering with other users' access.
Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used abusively.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voteris is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
